Majestic (real name Kevin Christie); house producer, garage MC and resident Kiss FM DJ started out as an MC performing on the North London nightclub circuit at just fifteen years of age. He rapidly broke through onto Garage pirate radio stations and forums gaining instant recognition, and was subsequently snapped up by international promoters to perform tours worldwide. Majestic has since crossed into a multitude of dance music genres from UK Garage to House to Drum & Bass and Dubstep performing with leading artists across the scene such as Sigma, DJ EZ, MJ Cole, Judge Jules, Micky Slim, Jack Beats, Laidback Luke, The Wideboys, Netsky, High Contrast, Loadstar, Shy FX, Skream, Prodigy, Nero, Jacob Plant, Craig David, Tinie Tempah, and Stormzy to name a few.
As well as a being named the “best live MC in the game’ by Radio 1 DJ Mistajam, Majestic has also made waves as an artist. His music releases have gained radio support from the likes of DJ Target, Pete Tong, Kissy Sell Out, Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw and Sara Cox. Majestic also caught the attention of Dubstep superstar Skrillex. who sampled his legendary tune, “Ruffneck Bass” for the 2011 EP release More Monsters and Sprites, and has since had over 50 million plays.
Soon after the release of ‘POGO’ with Laidback Luke, Majestic was playing festivals all over Europe; Global Gathering, WE R FSTVL, EDC, Creamfields and Boardmasters, whilst flying across the holiday isles of Mallorca, Malia, Zante, Ibiza and Kavos, securing him a number of desirable summer residencies along the way.
After a few months of having his own show at Kiss Fresh, Majestic was then asked to join Kiss FM as a resident DJ, transforming Thursday nights into the epicentre of House, Garage and Grime. Majestic’s addition to the two shows have helped Kiss FM UK to become the biggest radio station in London again.
This past year he has been asked to play at the iconic venue Café Mambo in Ibiza. He was also asked to play for Craig David at his infamous residency at Ibiza Rocks, for Stormzy at his Ibiza Festival ‘Merky’ and for Tinie Tempah at his headline show at Ushuaia. Proving that the demand for Majestic’s musical skills and his infectiously gregarious personality is ever increasing.
Majestic has studied the sound of the underground for well over a decade, so it’s easy to see how his live shows can seamlessly deliver a mash up of nostalgic tunes, heavy bass lines and lively house music. From Majestic’s high energy performance and love for DJ’ing to the masses, as well as having an uncountable amount of support from fellow DJ’s and Artists, Majestic created his brand #Limitless. Limitless is a hybrid between a concert and a rave, the show gives Majestic the opportunity to play some of his favourite tunes as well as perform his own material.
After 3 sold out #Limitless shows across the UK, Majestic is now playing his biggest sold out show yet at the iconic venue KOKO London on the 7th December alongside a very solid support line up, which means the night will be unquestionably massive. Majestic also loves to invite a special guest or two; a #Limitless show will always be that bit EXTRA.
